On the initiative of our member La Línea de la Concepcíon (ES), representatives of fortress monuments and tourism professionals from the Campo de Gibraltar tourism region met for the first time to discuss the topic of “Developing regional fortress tourism with FORTE CULTURA®”. The requirements and objectives for fortress tourism in the region were discussed and the first tourist offers and products under the umbrella of FORTE CULTURA® were discussed. The tourism region in south-west Andalusia has a rich cultural heritage of fortress monuments from the Romans to the Moors to the 20th century.
