Around 35 members and guests from seven countries took part in the General Assembly, which was held online. In addition to the detailed reports from the Executive Board and the Scientific Advisory Board, the FORTE CULTURA stations were also able to report on the many activities and forward-looking developments at their fortress monuments.

During an extraordinary election, Filippo Cailotto (IT) was confirmed by the General Assembly as the new Vice President for Cultural Heritage. He succeeds Huibert Crijns (NL), who announced his resignation in the summer for personal reasons. At the request of the Executive Board, an increase in FORTE CULTURA membership fees in two stages (2023 and 2024) was also approved (see the new fee regulations).
