As a European cultural route, FORTE CULTURA helps to preserve the important cultural heritage of the fortress monuments and all people accessible. Together with the Aktion Mensch lottery, FORTE CULTURA regularly initiates projects to break down barriers in the fortress landscape in Germany.

Thanks to a grant from the Aktion Mensch lottery totalling €4,674.50, a new circular route in plain language has been established at Fort Gorgast.

Five German-Polish information signs were produced as part of the "#1 Barrier Less" funding programme project. The signs mark the circular route and provide information on the history and function of the fort. QR codes lead to audio files in easy language in German and Polish to give everyone access to the information. The project was carried out under the auspices of FORTE CULTURA, together with Fort Gorgast and the Amt Golzow.
