At the conclusion of the study tour to Slovenia and Palmanova in Italy, there was a welcome reception in the city hall of Palmanova. The Mayor, Mr Francesco Martines, expressed his hope that a network such as FORTE CULTURA may help to alleviate the enormous restoration problems associated with the maintenance of a fortress.

Durante una visita oficial a Eslovenia que tuvo lugar entre el 31 de agosto y el 8 de septiembre de 2013, pudimos visitar, en algunos casos por primera vez, muchos lugares fortificados, castillos y otros objetos fortificados ocultos que para la mayoría de los visitantes habituales de Eslovenia siguen siendo un secreto.
