The European Fortress Day (EFD) is organized by the FORTE CULTURA partner EFFORTS (European Federation of Fortified Sites) and will take place virtually in 2020 with a new concept. European Fortress Day is part of the FORTE CULTURA initiative Fortaleza europea Verano (www.fortress-summer.eu). All members, network partners, and non-members are invited to participate in this year’s EFD.

All participating fortresses are asked to submit contributions about their “Summer 2020” under COVID-19 conditions. Photos or videos can be sent to info@efforts-europe.eu by September 30, 2020. The most innovative submission will receive the 2020 EFFORTS Award.
