La ciudad ideal fortificada de Sabbioneta fue construida entre 1554 y 1571 y fue una de las primeras de su tipo en Europa. Tambi\u00e9n fue la primera fundaci\u00f3n de ciudad aut\u00f3noma del Renacimiento. La muralla de la ciudad, con forma de hex\u00e1gono irregular, se conserva \u00edntegramente. Las ciudades antiguas de Sabbioneta y Mantua son Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO desde 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
