El fuerte Gorgast fue construido a finales del siglo XIX y es un fuerte exterior de la antigua fortaleza de K\u00fcstrin (Kostrzyn nad Odr\u0105, Polonia). El fuerte prusiano Biehler es el \u00fanico de los cuatro fuertes exteriores de la fortaleza de K\u00fcstrin situado en la orilla occidental del r\u00edo Oder, y tambi\u00e9n es el \u00fanico que se conserva en buen estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hoy en d\u00eda, el sitio est\u00e1 gestionado por la asociaci\u00f3n Fort Gorgast e.V., que ofrece visitas guiadas y eventos. La junta directiva de la asociaci\u00f3n, dirigida por Michael Heinsohn, tiene como objetivo reforzar la cooperaci\u00f3n con otros sitios fortificados a trav\u00e9s de esta colaboraci\u00f3n.
