Dr. Hans-Rudolf Neumann is a founding member and scientific advisor of FORTE CULTURA. As a scientist, he regularly conducts fortress study tours around the world. In addition to the expertly super- vised visits to fortified monuments, Dr. Neumann\u2018s tours, which are conceived as pilot tours, are often also the occasion and start of cooperation between FORTE CULTURA and the fortress sites in order to jointly develop the cultural heritage of fortified monuments and to sustainably secure and use it for the future.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the establishment of FORTE CULTURA in 2014, Dr. Hans-Rudolf Neumann\u2019s pilot and study tours were organised under the new fortress tourism brand \u2018FORTE CULTURA\u2019. Dr Neumann published extensive \u2018Fortificatory Travel Reports\u2019 in German based on his study tours, which, on the one hand, meticulously document the itinerary and, on the other, provide a detailed account of the fortification heritage he visited. The \u2018Fortificatory Travel Reports\u2019 are published by Roderer Verlag<\/a> and partly available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
