Terez\u00edn, nomm\u00e9e d'apr\u00e8s l'imp\u00e9ratrice Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se, a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite par les Habsbourg contre la Prusse en 1780-90 dans la r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 l'Eger se jette dans l'Elbe. Cette ville forteresse imposante et id\u00e9ale, dot\u00e9e d'un r\u00e9seau de mines souterraines d'environ 20 kilom\u00e8tres de long, est l'une des plus grandes forteresses d'Europe.
