Around 200 participants from over 20 countries met in Görlitz for the annual meeting of the European Institute of Cultural Routes. For the first time repre- sentatives of UNESCO and ICOMOS were present to intensify cooperation between World Heritage Sites and Cultural Routes. FORTE CULTURA pre- sented itself as a candidate for certification by the Cultural Route Institute and made new international contacts at the 2-day event.
