In qualit\u00e0 di organizzazione di lobbying, EFFORTS funge da interfaccia tra le istituzioni europee e i monumenti fortificati o le reti che si occupano della conservazione e dell'utilizzo del patrimonio culturale europeo dei monumenti fortificati . Oltre al lavoro pratico su studi e progetti congiunti sul patrimonio culturale delle fortezze, l'accordo di cooperazione prevede anche l'ampliamento della base associativa di entrambe le reti attraverso l'adesione reciproca di membri associati.
