The FORTE CULTURA Congress 2026 in La L\u00ednea de la Concepci\u00f3n (ES) was a fantastic event. Under the theme \u2018From C\u00e1diz to Europe: Fortifications and Sustainable Tourism\u2019, 72 fortification and tourism experts from 17 countries came together. We have had four exciting days, packed with information, personal exchanges and fascinating excursions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By focusing on networks, cross-border cooperation, and heritage interpretation, the Congress will reaffirm fortified heritage as a strategic asset for sustainable tourism, community engagement, and European cohesion. From La L\u00ednea to Europe, fortifications become not only witnesses of the past, but active contributors to a more inclusive, informed, and sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
