La fortezza statale bavarese di Ingolstadt \u00e8 stata ampliata in cinque periodi storici fino a diventare il grande sistema fortificato che vediamo oggi. Su entrambe le sponde del Danubio si trovano fortificazioni in parte molto ben conservate che abbracciano cinque secoli e rappresentano la fortezza rinascimentale, l'ampliamento successivo alla Guerra dei Trent'anni, la fortezza neoclassica (ricostruzione dopo la demolizione da parte di Napoleone), nonch\u00e9 una cintura di fortificazioni esterne e una cintura di fortezze esterne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Con la sua adesione, Ingolstadt punta, tra gli altri obiettivi, a una maggiore visibilit\u00e0 internazionale nel turismo culturale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inoltre, saranno sviluppate o ampliate collaborazioni tra fortezze all'interno della Baviera, nella regione di confine tra Germania e Austria e lungo il Danubio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
