Il Forte Gorgast \u00e8 stato costruito alla fine del XIX secolo ed \u00e8 un forte esterno dell'ex Fortezza di K\u00fcstrin (Kostrzyn nad Odr\u0105, PL). Il forte prussiano Biehler \u00e8 l'unico dei quattro forti esterni della fortezza di K\u00fcstrin situato sul lato occidentale del fiume Oder ed \u00e8 anche l'unico ben conservato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oggi il sito \u00e8 gestito dall'associazione Fort Gorgast e.V., che offre visite guidate ed eventi. Il consiglio direttivo dell'associazione, guidato da Michael Heinsohn, mira a rafforzare la cooperazione con altri siti fortificati attraverso questa collaborazione.
