Network of the European Cultural Route Fortified Monuments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Tutor<\/strong>: assistant professor PhD Ing. Arch. Marcin G\u00f3rski, M.Sc. Ing. Arch. Aleksandra Lewicka<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The project was carried out by students of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, specialising in architectural heritage, in the third semester of their Master&#8217;s degree. As the last task before graduation, they worked on a historical ensemble with a complex spatial structure, the protection of which requires the introduction of educational and commercial functions, funds for current conservation and local development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Project goals<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-306611\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Extending the length of tourists&#8217; stays from a few hours to 2-3 days,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">improving visibility of the outlines of the Renaissance fortifications of the citadel and the ideal fortified town,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">confronting the conditions resulting from the area&#8217;s listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Development of a tourist service system for the citadel: ticket office, toilets, information, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of the possibility of creating new parahistorical objects (instead of the historic buildings that have not been preserved) for tourist services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"
