The Polish curator of the FORTE CULTURA® Scientific Advisory Board, Marcin Gorski, gave the introductory lecture during the symposium “One Hundred Years of Cologne’s Green Lung – From Historical Defence Facilities to a Future-Oriented Green System” on 23 November 2019 at the Institute of Geography at the University of Cologne.

In addition, Hans-Rudolf Neumann, in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of the Association of the European Cooperation Centre for Fortified Cultural Heritage ECCOFORT e.V. and also Voting Member ICOFORT, conveyed his best wishes and greetings to the conference.
