The European Fortress Summer 2021 was launched at a press conference in Germersheim on 15 April. The campaign developed by FORTE CULTURA in 2018 to market summer events in fortresses will  be implemented together with EFFORTS from this year onwards and will be given a new label. The European Fortress Summer includes the “Elbe Fortress Cultural Summer”, the “Upper Rhine Fortress Summer” and many other events and event series. All fortresses (including non-members) are invited to take part.
