Blog Sections

🔸 Activity Blog – Flash news, events, and stories from your fortress sites
🔸 Science Blog – Extensive expert and research articles, studies, and reflections relevant to fortress professionals

How to Submit:

1. Format – Prepare your article in Microsoft Word as text (URL, Italic, Bold, footnotes… can be included)
2. Content – The topic is not restricted, but it must relate in some way to fortress heritage
3. Length – There is no strict limit, but articles should generally not exceed 3,000 words
4. Language – The article should be in English (If not, do not worry, our editorial team will translate it)
5. Header – Include at the top:
   • A front image
   • Title
   • Author name
   • Introductory description
6. Images/videos – Add other images or videos in the text if available. For best quality, please send images separately (e.g., via WeTransfer). If possible, mention the photo’s author. In the name of an image file, you can write description, what is in the image (for future web searching purposes).
7. Quotes – You may include separate quotes with the speaker’s name and profession/title.

Review Process:

1. Editorial Notification – The blog editor receives your submission and prepares it for review.
2. Review – The editorial team (led by the president of FORTE CULTURA) reviews it and decide one of the following:
   • Approve the release
   • Approve with changes – Your article can be published, but minor adjustments are requested; you will be notified to make these changes.
   • Do not authorize – Article will not be published.
3. Categorization – The editor assigns tags and categories to the article and, based on its content, places it in the Science or the Activity Blog.
4. Agreement with Author – After approval, the editor coordinates with the author to finalize the article for the web, including layout, images, and visual formatting.
5. Scheduling and Publication – The article is added to the editorial schedule. It is not published immediately but will appear on the FORTE CULTURA Blog according to the planned timeline.
6. Sharing – For each article, the editorial team decides individually on which FORTE CULTURA social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) it will be shared. In addition, the article is included in the regular monthly Blog updates for newsletter subscribers and may also appear in the newsletter itself. The web will automatically translate the article into the official FORTE CULTURA website languages using AI (🇬🇧 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇵🇱 🇩🇪).
