Durante la conferenza internazionale „Interpretazione del patrimonio architettonico“ tenutasi il 30 settembre 2013 dal Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board a Chandigarh, il Dr.-Ing. arch. Hans-Rudolf Neumann, vicepresidente e coordinatore scientifico dell'ECCOFORT reg. ass., è stato invitato come relatore.

Durante un evento dell'Università di Pola in qualità di membro del progetto ADRIFORT finanziato dall'UE per l'Europa sud-orientale, tenutosi il 15 e 16 settembre 2013 a Pola / Croazia, è stato invitato come relatore l'esperto ICOMOS / ICOFORT e co-sviluppatore del progetto FORTE CULTURA finanziato dall'UE per l'Europa centrale, il Dr.-Ing. Hans-Rudolf Neumann.

At the conclusion of the study tour to Slovenia and Palmanova in Italy, there was a welcome reception in the city hall of Palmanova. The Mayor, Mr Francesco Martines, expressed his hope that a network such as FORTE CULTURA may help to alleviate the enormous restoration problems associated with the maintenance of a fortress.

During an official tour of Slovenia that took place between August 31st and September 8th 2013 we were able to visit, in some cases for the very first time, many fortified places, castles, and other hidden fortified objects that for a majority of ordinary visitors of Slovenia still remain a secret.
