At the end of May, Polish and German experts on the fortress heritage of the 20th century met in the tranquil town of Walcz. A two-day conference with excursions shed light on the history of the Pomeranian Wall and the possibilities of valorisation and international networking.

FORTE CULTURA and the Liberation Route Europe presented their cultural routes and wide-ranging networking activities. In discussions with the participants, possibilities for developing the Pomeranian Wall as a FORTE CULTURA regional cluster were discussed.

The event was organised and carried out by the Museum Ziemi Waleckiej (PL), together with the district of Vorpommern (DE), funded as part of a small project Interreg Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Poland.
